Privacy Policy

Laplace is a software-as-a-service platform for building, sharing, and using small applications and internal tools with people and AI agents. This policy describes the baseline data practices implemented by the service; the final policy must be reviewed against the production vendors and legal entity operating Laplace.

Information we process

We process account details, organization membership, billing identifiers, support requests, security records, application content, and connected-service data authorized by each organization. Depending on the features you use, this can include app prompts and source, shared app records, connection credentials, saved secrets, and browser session data. Existing marketplace workflows can also process products, listings, orders, fulfillment information, inventory references, and synchronization metadata.

Marketing inquiries and previous waitlist submissions

When you submit an inquiry, we store your name, email, company (if supplied), inquiry topic, message, source page, and submission time in our database. Authorized platform staff use these records for manual follow-up.

If you previously joined the Laplace Connect waitlist, we retain your email, optional name, company and tools of interest, source page, submission time, and the time and version of your explicit launch-notification consent. That submission did not create a product account or connect third-party services. Duplicate email submissions did not replace existing details.

We do not send automatic receipts or campaigns from these forms. Platform staff can export records for follow-up and availability notifications covered by your consent. Withdrawn waitlist entries are excluded from notification exports. You can request withdrawal, access, correction, or deletion through our contact page. We retain these records for handling your inquiry or previous waitlist participation, subject to deletion requests and applicable obligations.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, provide requested workflows, synchronize connected services, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, support customers, monitor reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Connected services

An organization administrator may connect supported applications and authorize tools for use by people or AI agents. Laplace requests only the scopes required for enabled workflows. Administrators can disconnect an integration, after which Laplace stops requesting new data. Provider retention and deletion behavior remains subject to the provider's own terms.

Storage, security, and retention

Access is limited by organization membership and role. Integration tokens are encrypted at rest and sensitive values are excluded from application logs. Operational records are retained while an account is active and for the documented recovery period after closure, unless a longer period is legally required.

Service providers and transfers

Laplace uses hosting, database, storage, authentication, AI model, email, monitoring, and payment providers to operate the service. A current subprocessor list and any applicable international transfer terms must be published before general availability.

Your choices

Users may update account details and organization administrators may manage members and connected services. Requests for access, correction, export, or deletion can be submitted through the contact page. Some billing, security, and audit records may be retained where legally required.
